Swiss Netball is the governing body for netball in Switzerland and is a full Member of both the International Netball Federation and of Netball Europe. Formed in 2009, the Association is predominantly run by volunteers and has been paramount in supporting the exponential development of this fast, fun and feminine sport across French and German-speaking Switzerland.

The Swiss national team first obtained a world ranking in 2012.

Over the years, a good number of GIN players have been involved with the National Squad, both as coaches and athletes, with many representing Switzerland in international matches. Club members have also received umpire training and accreditation from Swiss Netball. This means GIN members are guaranteed high quality training and game play.

Netball in Switzerland is a close-knit family and Swiss Netball helps to bring the various clubs and interested organizations together.

As a member of Swiss Netball, GIN has also partnered with Geneva University to offer netball to women attending the university. This is a great way of sharing the fun and promoting the fantastic game of Netball, as well as encouraging new arrivals to Geneva to integrate into the local community. GIN is a multi-lingual club and a large majority of the members speak French in addition to English and other languages.

Students who join GIN can obtain half-price membership with access to all the same benefits as full members.
